Marina and the Diamonds. My current OBSESSION and idol. :L 

Whether you like it or not, if you're living in England, you have come across her before. Not only has Marina Lambrini Diamandis cleared herself a niche in the organised chaos that is the British music industry, she has also got herself signed to a top record company in the land of uhmazingness, A-M-E-R-I-C-A itself. :O 

All this within the space of..around 2 years? That sure is awesome. (read that sentence in an American accent, otherwise it just sounds rubbish.)

To put it simply, Marina and the Diamonds is like marmite. I'm not going to expand this statement, as that would be patronising to you guys.) 

Personally, I think Marina is SOSOSOSOSOSO EXTRAORDINARILY TALENTED AND COOL, AND KOOKY AND ORIGINAL AND FRESH. 

Some of you, at this point, will be thinking 'erm wtf, are you deaf? marina and the diamonds are utterly rubbish, she sounds like a sheep being held at gunpoint and she looks like a man.'

This is where you are wrong ;)

Now I'm not just gonna go on and give y'all an essay on Marina and the Diamonds cos you will be bored and I will be bored and bored+bored=something very boring. :/

 The thing I love about MATD, and what makes her so awesome, is her fashion sense :D it's so cute, and spot on kooky ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ <--- colour coordinating hearts in rainbow order makes me happy, okay -_-

omg typing 'lotsa' reminded me of toy story 3 for those of you who've seen it, and the evil creep teddy Lotso :S boy that movie was dodgy. but pretty cute :D everyone said they cried at the end though, and i mean EVERYONE, so when it got to the end i was getting the tissues out, but no tears came..it really was not crying worthy :L it was just typical animation sad..

hey hey hey. :D

firstly: a giant apology to my 36 followers for being a proper crap blogger lately
SORRY. i LITERALLY had nothing worth blogging about and i've been kinda busy and stuff, namely raising money for my World Challenge expedition to Croatia next May. in fact i did some fundraising today actually- bag packing at the local M&S with Phoebe from 'Phoebe.Madeleine', Olivia from 'Union Olivia', Faye from 'Meringue Pie' and Caroline from nowhere, because she doesn't have a blog. :]
it was rather fun as a matter of fact, and collectively we raised a MAHOOOSIVE £428.66! :O shocker or what
we then split this 5 ways, which is still a large sum of money for a 13 year old :D
so now i'm AAAAALMOST halfway to raising the grand total :)
i've also been having a few cake sales with Phoebe outside my house, which actually went pretty well, but we are having a bit of a break from them, mainly because we agree on NOTHING and irritate the hell out of eachother, resulting in us wanting to kill one another ;) not a good idea.
hmmm well that's all i've been doing so far during this utterly ATROCIOUS summer holiday of 5 weeks. (i HATE OUR SCHOOL, 5 WEEKS?!?!?)
besides the usuals- swimming, shopping, going round mates houses and all that jazz. [:

well once again apologies, and imma try to update much more, i promise :D

yaaah i'm pretty much failing at blogging.
i've kinda given up on it, which is unlike me but it's stupid. no one comments, so how do i even know someone is reading it? :/ i'm probably just wasting my time for nothing

omgomgomgomgomgomgomg.
i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry.
in 2 days, it will have been exactly 2 months since i last blogged.
:o aaah
that is mind blowingly terrible, i am aware. BUT i have excuses. they are pretty pathetic but listen anyways.
firstly, in the beginning of may, my laptop charger wire started coming out of the black box bit on the charger if you get me. it got to the point where i had to hold it in place with one hand and attempt to go on my laptop with the other, often failing. i tried to tape it, but it did not work. then, a few days later, i grew impatient. so i grabbed the wire and the black box thingy, and thrust the two together in attempt to make them stay that way.
now i'm not even exaggerating when i say this, but i swear on my life, giant red fireworks and sparks started coming out of the wire. as you can imagine, i yelled my face off and threw the charger on the floor.
shortly after that, it went in the bin.
this left me with no laptop, as there was no battery in it, and obvs i couldn't use the firework charger.
i told my mum and she mumbled something. i think she forgot about it, cos 2 agonising laptop-free weeks later, i asked her if she had ordered a charger yet and her reply was 'no, i expected you to do that'.
ohhhhh. my bad.
so THEN i ordered one after much anitcipation (or laziness) and it FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINALLY came literally about 3 weeks later.
i just about died of happiness, and stuck it in the laptop without really thinking about anything, i was on cloud 5000 and i was so HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
laptop came on fine. all was good. then, i clicked on internet. 'internet explorer cannot display the webpage'. BUGGERRRRRRRRRRRRRR. i disconnected the internet and kept trying again- it said the connection was full, and everyone else in the house had normal internet  but for some reason, my little brat of a laptop wasn't working. literally almost in tears, i told my mum and she said 'ring talk talk'. they didn't pick up. so i asked my dad who was more helpful and tried to fix it, but nothing :'(
i have tried almost everyday since then, but the same thing keeps happening so i have given up. i am currently waiting for an angel to descend and fix it.
i have been relying on my trusty iPod touch since the tragic day in may, my mum's iMac and my sister's utterly crap laptop which i am using atm (she is out with mates, she would kill me otherwise.)
tbh, not a lot has changed in the two months. :L

hello there, i am in a very excited mood :)
and i have some good news; you know last post i was talking about wanting to interview someone?
well that someone was the amazing eve rei, and she agreed to it, and here are the questions and answers :)
please check out her blog, it is honestly mind blowingly cool and refreshing. :D

1.) who is your one style icon? 

Grace Kelly. Her timeless elegance is always something I've strived for. 
Her style is pitch perfect and never ever  faltered. 
Also Molly Ringwald, especially in the John's Hughes films. 
She made style eclectic, and her choice of colours is spectacular. 

2.) if you could be any single person, alive or dead, for 

the day who would you pick? 

I'd love to have a day on stage, so maybe someone like Anna 

Friel, then I could act all day and leave at night in 

vintage beauties. I'd loved to have been a queen, so maybe 

lady Jane Grey, though before she got the chop. 

3.) what is the weirdest thing you've heard come out of 

anyone's mouth that you can remember? 

My brother singing 'Bounce' 

4.) when did you realize/decide that you had a big interest 

in fashion and maybe want to pursue it as a career? 

My mum was the one that dressed me when I was little, so 

from being dressed in navies and blacks at a young age, I 

felt drawn to all things fluffy and pink. I find talking 

about 'finding fashion' really strange, I guess for me I 

just put on a skirt one day and decided that I didn't want 

to where it the next. From there I just always tried to look 

nice, for myself, and different each day, like a little 

game. I've always loved the sound of my mum's sewing 

machine, so it seemed as like a natural progression to go 

onto make clothes, and finding costume was even better 

because then I can be as eccentric as I like. 

5.) what is your favourite sandwich filling? 

Crayfish and Rocket. Has to be accompanied by orange juice 

and banana cake :) 

6.) what are your pet peeves? 

Leaving the tap on when you brush your teeth and using up 

all the hot water 

7.) on a scale of 1-10, how much are you enjoying answering 

these questions right now? 

About an 8, but then -1 factoring in the fact I should be 

revising, but then +3 because I'm watching Matt Smith 

8.) the best pair of shoes/item of clothing you've owned in 

your life? 

My seaweed dress. It fitted me perfectly, was a beautiful 

colour. All until my sister ate a hole into it. So now I'd 

say my clogs + my pink hotpants. 

9.) would you rather be stung to death by bees or eaten by 

bears? 

Oh eaten by bears. Actually no bees. I've saved a lot of 

bees in the past, given them my crisps and never screamed at 

them. They owe me. 

10.) thoughts on zac efron? 

man bangs = love
